The literary branch of the Ojai Art Center presents local author E.E. "Doc" Murdock who will read from his two Civil War-era mystery novels, "The End of the Civil War," and "Who Owns Arizona?" The author will also talk about how the writing of historical and detective stories has changed over the past few decades, using four of his novels to demonstrate the now-popular 21st-century character-driven style. The evening will conclude with a Q & A followed by some light refreshments. Suggested donation is $5. |
