Description The next installment in Channel Islands Aviation’s “Learn How to Fly” seminar series is “Powerplants – An Introduction to Piston and Turbine Engines,” scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Camarillo Airport. Targeted for those 16 years and older who are interested in learning how to fly, this complimentary class is one-hour long. Mike Lozano, Chief Flight Instructor at CIA, will teach the course. It isn’t necessary to sign up for all the sessions, notes Mr. Lozano. “Participants are welcome to attend at their convenience. Each class will present valuable stand-alone information on aviation.” Coffee and donuts will be served.
