Those who love kitchens will enjoy spending a day visiting 5 recently-remodeled gourmet kitchens in Ventura. The tour is an inaugural event for Project Understanding and it will occur on Sunday, October 14th from 11 am to 4 pm. The purchase of a modestly priced ticket provides a map to the five Ventura homes which run along Foothill Road. The design styles, sizes and materials differ greatly from one home to another. The funds raised will be used for H2H (Homeless to Home) to assist those who are on the brink of or just over the brink of homelessness. In other words, it will help those who do not have a kitchen to obtain one. Tickets are $25.00 if purchased prior to October 5 and $30.00 afterward. They can be purchased in person at Kitchen Places, 4125 Market Street, #1, Ventura. Tickets may also be purchased at the Project Understanding website. To purchase tickets on the day of the tour, report to the parking lot at Ventura High School, corner of Poli and Hall Canyon. |
