Each foster and kinship care family has unique dynamics that are affected by the entrance or exit of a child. This 3 hour class will give the families an opportunity to discover what Dynamic Strategies can do to help them navigate these times within their homes. Resilience comes from balancing family and placements needs. An understanding of these needs and strategies will help the families succeed. Join Dr. Kim Lockwood and his wife who have been foster parents since 1978. They will share strategies of caregiving accumulated from these years of experiences. Dr. Lockwood has his PhD in Health Care Administration and has operated pediatric care facilities in Ventura. The program is free to all Foster and Kinship Care families. |
