||Rev. Karen S. Wylie’s monthly devotional retreat at Meditation Mount will take place on Solstice Saturday, June 21, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The topic will be “Emerge and See.” “There is a pattern of perfection at the center of your being that has never been touched by disease or misfortune,” Rev. Karen says. “Your intellect senses this through intuition; your imagination feels it by divine right; and your inward consciousness knows it through faith. “In this morning of reflection, contemplation, and sharing, we will awaken our entire being to the spiritual awareness of who and what we truly are,” she says. “The busier our lives become, the more important it is to take time to deeply center and nourish our spiritual selves.” Rev. Karen offers her monthly half-day retreats at Meditation Mount as sacred opportunities to “center, learn, grow, deepen, and awaken to the spiritual truth of our beings,” she says. The beautiful grounds of Meditation Mount are ideally suited to this type of quiet contemplation and peaceful rejuvenation. In addition to sharing meditation, quiet walks, songs and chants, Rev. Karen will also offer healing prayers for anyone facing a particular challenge. The retreat is open to people of all faiths and is by donation: $10 is suggested, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information, contact Rev. Karen at 310-968-8928, or register online at www.karenswylie.com.
