NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 29, 2012 Ventura Chamber to hold 16th Annual Poinsettia Awards (VENTURA, CA)The Ventura Chamber will host the 16th Annual Poinsettia Awards luncheon honoring the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals who have made a difference in the Ventura community. This year, the luncheon will be celebrated on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 11:30am – 2:00pm at the Marriott Ventura Beach Hotel – 2055 Harbor Blvd., Ventura. Admission for the event is $40/Chamber members and $50/non-members. Award Categories include: Small, Mid-Sized and Large Business of the Year; Young Professional, Non-Profit, Citizen, Chamber Ambassador, Volunteer, and Jewel Key of the Year; the Innovation Award; City Employee, Firefighter, Police Officer, Educator, and Male/Female Student of the Year Award. An Environmental Excellence Award will be presented by the City of Ventura Environmental Sustainability Department and the Downtown Ventura Business Award will also be presented by Downtown Ventura Partners. The Ventura Firefighters will also be hosting their annual “Spark of Love” holiday toy drive and ask that attendees bring an unwrapped toy, book or sporting equipment to the luncheon.
