WOMEN OF VISION BOOK DISCUSSIONS
The Women of Vision book discussion which will begin its weekly fall series on Thursday, September 20 from 12:15 to 1:30. Women of Vision meets at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 6300 Telephone Road, Ventura (across from the Government Center). There is no charge to participate. Founded in 1998, Women of Vision welcomes all women to come together informally to grow and strengthen bonds of friendship and understanding. The first session on September 20th will be a special, one- time presentation of "The Gift of Years: Growing Older Gracefully" by Joan Chittister. Attendees will not have to read the book to enjoy the discussion. Starting with the second session, attendees will break up into small groups to discuss one chapter a week from" Fingerprints of God: The Search for the Science of Spirituality" by Barbara Bradley Hager.
