EARTHDAY CAMARILLO Saturday, April 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Earthday Camarillo will again feature activities for all ages, including environmental, community, and educational booths, art and craft vendors, an expanded food selection, the Camarillo White Horses, belly dancers, and live entertainment. Charles “Wsir” Johnson will be first on stage, Mariachi Gallos de Oro will appear around lunchtime, and The Sloppy Joes take the stage at 2:00 p.m. Children’s activities include bounce houses, craft activities, storytelling, and a costume parade. EARTHDAY BEACH CLEAN UP Saturday, April 21, 9-11 a.m. Please join Volunteer Ventura! as we celebrate Earth Day by participating in our annual Earth Day Beach Cleanup. Surfer's Knoll Beach in the Ventura Harbor. Bring a bucket and a pair of work/garden gloves and help us protect our ocean! EARTHDAY RESTORATION EVENT Sunday, April 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Get your hands dirty this Earth Day! Come out and join the Ventura Hillsides Conservancy at our preserve along the Ventura River as we clear out the stalks and lop the resprouts of recently removed arrundo. Bring long pants, long sleeve shirt, water, hat and sun-protection. Afterwards, we'll tour the property and maybe even get a little wet! 2012 ARBOR EARTH DAY CELEBRATION Saturday, April 28th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for a day full of environmental fun for the whole family at the 2012 Thousand Oaks Arbor Earth Day! More than 100 vendors and exhibitors, animal shows, children's hands-on activities, mobile marine lab, entertainment, eco-friendly vehicles (Solar Prius, and from Honda, Audi, BMW and Fiat), tree and plant giveaways, compost workshops and so much more! The event will be at Conejo Creek Park North. This will be the 15 year anniversary of the City of Thousand Oaks Arbor Earth Day.
