 ZOMBIE 2012 APOCALYPSE AND THE ABYSS Saturday, Oct. 28-Saturday, Nov. 4. Fears Gate presents two haunted attractions, “The Abyss” (a world of total darkness) and “Zombie 2012 Apocalypse” (a trip through the “plaza of the undead”), plus a “double-wide” coffin ride, in the old Ace Hardware Building, 816 Ventura Road, Oxnard. Hours are 6:30 p.m.-midnight Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30-10 p.m. other days. Less scary “Lights On” tours are available 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
