JAMI SIEBER May 17, 7:30 p.m. Internationally renowned composer and cellist Jami Seiber will make a rare appearance in Ventura at the Center for Spiritual Living. Sieber wrote the score for the acclaimed documentary Queen of the Sun: What the Bees Are Telling Us and contributed five compositions to the video game Braid. CALIFORNIA JAZZ AND WINE FEST Sunday, May 19, 1-6 p.m. The day will feature restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries and will highlight live jazz performances by some of the area’s finest musicians.
