AN EVENING OF NOTE Saturday, March 31. Ventura Music Festival will hold a live auction fundraiser of original art on folding screens based on music themes and created by local artists. The funds raised from the event will support Ventura Music Festival’s educational outreach programs in the local schools and youth organizations as well as the production of professional concerts for the public. The evening will be themed around the Roaring Twenties and will include a gourmet dinner, live entertainment and other fun stuff. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person.
