THE GHOSTS OF VENTURA’S CITY HALL Oct. 31, 8-10 p.m. Ventura’s City Hall, like many historic courthouses, has stories of ghosts. Such phantoms as the floating head of a long dead judge are rumored to appear here.

GHOST TALES AT THE OLIVAS ADOBE Nov. 1, 8-10 p.m. Spooky tales of ghosts long-rumored to haunt the historic Olivas Adobe will highlight this ghost investigation hosted by Richard Senate. GHOUL WINGS FILM CONTEST AND FESTIVAL Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m. The Gull Wings Children’s Museum will host a Halloween-inspired short-film festival for children.
