Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) Major General Vincent A. Coglianese made a one-day visit to the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC) in Port Hueneme on Friday, Jan. 11, taking a tour and getting briefed on engineering and technology projects utilized by MCICOM’s land and maritime operations. “MCICOM provides the force and readiness through generating combat power to develop solutions that maintain tactical advantages over our adversaries,” said Maj. Gen. Coglianese. “NAVFAC EXWC grasps MCICOM’s mission to optimize maritime prepositioning forces necessary to support our warfighters. Their approach reassures MCICOM that by working directly with EXWC’s skilled scientists and engineers, both commands will continue to benefit from this mutually-beneficial partnership.”
