The Camarillo Rotary Club has planted dozens of trees at Camarillo Grove Park, which was devastated by the 2018 Hill Fire. Also in 2018, Rotary International challenged each chapter to plant a tree for each member in an effort to combat climate change.  “Everyone tries to figure out what they can do to make a sustainable difference after a disaster.  While sandbagging was important as an effort to save those trails, a Rotary Grove of trees will be a more long lasting benefit that we can enjoy and feel good about,” said Jay Berger, Rotary membership chair.
