Join Master Chefs Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Alfonso Betancourt of The Manhattan of Camarillo at the Camarillo Farmers Market, Saturday, June 15 at 10AM to learn the finer points of selecting fresh produce and meats from local vendors. The chefs will lead a tour of the market which includes fruits and vegetables, artisan bread, home-kitchen baked goods, dates, organic eggs, fresh flowers and live garden plants, hummus, organic meat and fresh local seafood, microgreens, and tamales. After the tour, the chefs will share two specialty recipes for a masterpiece that you can create at home!
Shopping at the Farmers Market supports local small business owners and provides much-needed funding for the grief and bereavement programs offered by Camarillo Hospice: A Program of Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association.
