Fit 4 The Cause, a local non-profit that brings fitness and nutrition programs to youths, fragile seniors and others in the community, is offering Zumba® classes for teens at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center for the first time ever.
The seven-class weekly course is geared for teens ages 12-17. The classes are held from 4-5 p.m. beginning on Tuesday Jan. 22 and running through Tuesday March 5.
The class can accommodate 12 students so those interested are urged to sign up quickly as space is limited. Registration is easy through www.thousandoaksteencenter.com/programs and the fee for the series is $60.
The class instructor will be Amanda Welti, Fit 4 The Cause’s Chief Zumba® Officer and a longtime licensed Zumba® instructor. Teens will have fun in a party-like atmosphere dancing and exercising to salsa, merengue, hip hop and other lively, upbeat musical styles. No previous Zumba® experience is necessary to enjoy the class.
Incidentally, Amanda and her teenage daughter Grace are receiving Fit 4 the Cause’s Lifetime Achievement Award at this month’s Superhero themed Gala planned at the Westlake Hyatt Regency on January 26th.
Fit 4 the Cause, Inc. provides therapeutic exercise and nutrition education to thousands of beneficiaries including at-risk teens, fragile seniors and vulnerable children in Ventura, Simi Valley, the Conejo Valley and the San Fernando Valley. Visit www.fit4thecause.org or email email@example.com.
